Hamilton Pool

For my Dad's birthday he received a coupon stating: "One Free Camping Trip With Your Kids" which he decided to redeem for a trip to Austin in the trailer. I had heard about Hamilton Pool in the Fort Worth Star Telegram and been planning a trip for months. But with a car and step-mother on their deathbeds, traveling wasn't an option for a while.

When the trip finally came to pass, my throat decided it was going to hurt. Bad. I'm talking worst pain I've had since the strep throat incident in college. BUT being the trooper that I am...I just had to get these shots :)

Along the roadside we saw a billboard for "THE INTERSPACE CAVERNS" and there was no way my little brother and I would be letting my dad drive on with out stopping to explore the caves...











And then the pool.

Oh that evil sunlight that murders my pictures! It was high noon and bright as, well, the sun. That's my excuse for only grabbing a few mediocre photos.
